Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic
The WOMC provides comprehensive care to active duty service members, including National Guard and Reserve members on active-duty orders.
Services Provided
WOMC manages outpatient health concerns and duty-related concerns, such as:
- Profiles (duty, mobility, and fitness restrictions)
- Shaving waivers
- Referral request/medication renewals
- Convalescent leave/quarters
Acute Appointments
Acute appointments are for non-life-threatening illnesses. Please call the appointment line at 316-759-6300, option 1, to request a same-day appointment, if available. After hours, members may utilize TRICARE network urgent care centers with authorization by calling the MHS Nurse Advice Line at 800-TRICARE (874-2273) and selecting option 1. You must receive a prior authorization to go to an urgent care or you will incur a bill. If needing to be seen urgently (non-emergency), search to book appointments online via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
If the issue is a threat to life, limb, or eyesight, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
Routine Appointments
Routine appointments are for present illnesses not causing severe symptoms, such as:
- Follow-up care for chronic issues
- Referral requests
- Medication concerns
Routine appointments may be booked by calling the appointment line at 316-759-6300, option 1, or through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.

For Non-Acute/Chronic Issues:
Using the ’Appointments’ tab, click ’Schedule a New Appointment,’ and select your PCM/Care Team when booking appointments, or send a secure message to ’McConnell/22 MDG Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic’ to request an appointment. You may also call the appointment line at 316-759-6300, option 1, during duty hours.
New Referral:
Using the ’Appointments’ tab, click ’Schedule a New Appointment,’ and select your PCM/Care Team when booking appointments or send a secure message to ‘McConnell/22 MDG Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic’ to request an appointment. You may also call the appointment line at 316-759-6300 during duty hours.
Referral Continuation:
Send a secure message to ‘McConnell/22 MDG Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic’ to request a referral continuation. You may also call the appointment line at 316-759-6300, option 7, during duty hours.
Medication Renewal:
Send a secure message to ‘McConnell/22 MDG Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic’ to request a medication renewal. You may also call the appointment line at 316-759-6300, option 7, during duty hours.
Individual Medical Readiness
Service members’ IMR Action List will show items for which you are due or overdue that can be resolved by your action. Please click the Action List help link if there are any questions about what’s listed on the Action List.
